Prevention of over extraction: disc screen prevents the high pressure hot water from directly impacting the coffee powder, causing the surface of powder to crack, preventing excessive extraction from producing odor, and making powder complete.
Reduce channel effect: evenly distributed diagonal holes can more effectively disperse the water flow. Before reaching the coffee, the water flow will be decomposed and redirected to thousands of directions, ensuring that powder is very gently and evenly submerged.
Healthier and more textured: Made of food grade 316 stainless steel, thin to 1 millimeter, with an accuracy of 60 microns, our ice hockey screen has smooth edges compared to other rough and prickly edges. Our metal mesh coffee filter is very sturdy and corrosion-resistant.
Can be used for dishwashers: With an espresso puck screen, cleaning work is effortless. Just rinse it quickly under tap water and it can be reused, saving time and energy compared to disposable filters.
Together with espresso accessories: The disc screen perfectly fits Breville’s 54mm bottomless portafilter and can also be placed on a North American walnut tamping station
