What is citric acid?
Acid occurs naturally in many citric fruits such as lemons and limes. This sourness via fermentation is transferred into a white, crystallised powder similar to sugar.
Citric Acid is used predominantly in cooking and manufacturing as a souring agent.
Citric acid powder is also used as a preservative agent.
